In a recent state/national park-hopping excursion, one of the places I most enjoyed on our trip was White Sands, NM. While I knew through research it was most likely an interesting place to visit, actually experiencing the almost surreal nature of White Sands National Monument, NM first hand is nearly awe inspiring.
